PCM donates needed PPE to Community Living Oakville

In a healthy Town, everyone should have opportunities for education, housing, leisure and participation in the community.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wq2r149J5e0 Community Living Oakville provides support and opportunity to developmentally challenged children, youth and adults.  In a healthy Town, everyone should have opportunities for education, housing, leisure and participation in the community.

A United Way agency, Community Living Oakville’s staff and volunteers work closely with special Oakvilleans.  In this time of the Covid-19 crisis, this poses special difficulties for the protection of staff, volunteers and clients, who are currently being supported in their homes.  Physical distancing is not always possible, and is too limiting to the personal support that is needed.

The answer is PPE: Personal Protective Equipment.  Thanks to Project and Construction Management Inc. (PCM),  Community Living Oakville has just received 300 protective face shields so that they can continue to provide the personal support the children, youth and adults they serve really need.

“These face shields will be going to our frontline staff who work everyday in the group homes of the people we support here in Oakville,”

stated Alexandre Hoeck Murray – Community Living Oakville’s Director of Service and Quality Enhancement.

Community Living Oakville is accepting donations of all PPE:  help our developmentally challenged children, youth and adults get through this difficult time by contacting them at info@oakcl.org, and help keep our clients, and dedicated staff and volunteers safe!

Brimming with elegant details and luxe amenities, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Home Lottery Showhomes are never your avarage abodes) past hightlights include spacious courtyards, youga rooms and stately two-storey libraries).

This year’s house is no exception. Set on a corner lot in a leafy neighbourhood in Oakville, Ont., the 7,050-square-foot showhome boasts fl0or-to-ceiling windows overlooking manicured gardens, and airy kitchen with a sunny window seat and an intimate dining room ideal for family suppers or cocktail soirées.

Even though this is Brian Gluckstein’s sixth time designing the Princess Margaret Showhome, he still pulls some surprises: wall-to-wall mural of the Château de Versailles in the living room, a putting green in the backyard and two 10-pin bowling lanes on the lower level, to name a few.

Designed by Toronto architect Richard Wengle, the four-bedroom house was inspired by a 1920s estate Brian spotted during a trip to Long Island, N.Y. “It was the perfect inspiration because the front façade was pushed back in the middle. I didn’t want the front door of the showhome to be right at the curb,” says Brian.

PCM wins again the Top Luxury Home Builder of 2018 in Greater Toronto in Top Choice Award 2018

PCM just nabbed their third Top Choice Award for the Top Luxury Home Builder of 2018. We are Premium Luxury Home Builder that has a strong focus on Service and Quality. This year marks the 11th Princess Margaret Fall Lottery Home that PCM has built showing once again the committment to excellence and a great cause.

The Gala will take place in September, in the meantime enjoy the 2018 Top Choice Awards Event. Conducted annually since 2005, the survey accepts nominations from the public and allows them to vote in a variety of categories for their favorite businesses and professionals in their city. This year’s survey was conducted in 26 cities across North America and received responses from over 880,000 participants.

With over 3000 nominees in the running for the top spot in their category, the survey broke all records of popularity. “The 2016 TCA official Nominees used their social media outlets and reached out to their clients, friends, families, fans and followers in order to bring awareness to their nomination and our free public service” said Francesca Filippelli, National Accounts Manager of TCA.

Known as the business award “that’s social”, TCA tapped into its social media channels to help drive the survey, reaching targeted areas and a wide demographic audience. Nominating and voting happens via phone, email, mail and online outlets; providing a free spotlight for North America’s brightest and renowned businesses and professionals.

Besides mass survey distribution to the public, TCA builds a personal connection with the nominees throughout the nomination and voting process, providing guidance to help them get the most out of their official nominee status.

“Every aspect of the survey is geared towards openness and share-ability. Every nominee in every category of each city is chosen by local people and social media has been a pivotal part of reaching and engaging consumers and nominees alike.” said Monica Couto, President of TCA.
The survey has evolved beyond simply allowing consumers to nominate and vote. It has developed into a platform that collects feedback from voters, creating a channel for consumers to freely share their thoughts with the businesses and professionals they love.

David Silvestre, CEO of TCA adds “Beyond the piles of useful and specific information that voters provide to the nominees they vote for, you will find something deeper and more meaningful. When people trust your business they are not afraid to show it and the voters that participated all share a common passion for the businesses, professionals they voted for. We, at TCA, are honored to present a trusted public list of businesses and professionals that will help you find the Top service or product you looking for.”

We at PCM together with our team of long term supply partners are more than grateful to be chosen as your favorite and we wish to continue on this path of success for years to come.
