Appleby College’s biennial Gala has always been an important source of funding for both, the financial aid programme and the physical development of the school.

The operating costs are largely funded by fee income with significant annual contributions from Commercial Activities and Philanthropy. Throughout th history, a significant portion of new capital for buildings and renovations has come from Philanthropy. The financial aid programme is also partly funded by Philanthropy and benefits approximately 100 students.

Founded in 1911, Appleby College is a non-profit, independent, co-educational day and boarding school. With over 750 students, our curriculum offers an exceptionally diverse education that combines rigorous academics with athletics, extensive co-curriculars and community service.
