PCM donated lumber this Spring to help local Rotary Club create birdhouses and to help grow the bird population in our community.

The Boy Scouts of Oakville are building birdhouses to raise money for their organization and to achieve their environment badge.

Rotary Members and Scouts attended workshops to teach them how to build birdhouses. Not only does this give young kids in our community a helpful wood working experience, they get to contribute to improving our bird population.

Rotary has a sterling international reputation for taking the initiative in challenging times. Their effort to end Polio has met with global recognition and financial support from people like Bill Gates. Rotarians live by the motto “Service Above Self”.
